The Atom Bunker Edger saves an enormous amount of work time and high labour costs on the most labour intensive job on the golf course, very
quickly pays for itself, and continues to reduce the golf course costs.
Its lightweight and highly manoeuvrable action can trim around the
bunkers tight bends and uneven terrain in just a couple of minutes,
and leaves a professional sharp clean finish that will keep your club
members happy. Its ergonomic design means there is no strain on the
operator as there is no carrying, bending, or pushing heavy equipment.
Atom's extra-long 436mm (17 ¼") blade is by far the longest in the
industry, and cuts to a depth of 180mm (7"), giving it the ability to
reach grass growing on the side of steep bunker walls. The long hardened
spring steel blade can also cut deep through the soil to cut grass runners
growing underground. This eliminates the costly job of using a spade
to sever the grass runners from growing into the sand. Effectively the
golf bunker edger does two jobs at once. Even heavily overgrown bunkers
can be trimmed in just one pass.
A 6-position indicated height adjustment is activated from the operators
position for easy instant adjustment. This is essential for the different
cutting depths required as the operator edges around each bunker's uneven
terrain.
The Atom Golf Bunker Edger features an extra-large fully enclosed guard
for maximum safety. This guard incorporates a patented viewport through
each side of the guard (with a protective screen) so the operator can
see where he/she is trimming/edging.
Another feature is the double wheel arrangement which results in light
"footprint" pressure on the grass, as well as a side disc wheel (patented)
which prevents side slip on steep sideways sloping edges.
